toodles, mah deah

So in exactly a week and twelve hours from now, I'll be jet setting off to London (!!) to visit Sandy :) Hopefully once I'm there I'll actually have something interesting to talk about on this blog. If I remember to blog. Haha.
Honestly, I'm seriously wondering who else reads my blog right now because, let's face it, it's collected figurative layers of dust. On the upside, that means I can ramble on and on and it won't matter. Hah.

Little update on what I've been doing since the *censored* ended on Nov 23rd:
Finally catching up on the 100000001 shows that I got but never watched because I was studying. Or attempting to, at least. So, head's pretty filled with TV rubbish right now.
Like:
"Studio 60 is the best show ever!"
and
"Prison Break is going on a hiatus?!"
and
"Jericho is going on a hiatus too?!"
and...
Well. You get the picture.

Other things that have been occupying my time: going to Parkway and MP library after months of being stuck commuting to and fro the island that is known as NTU, and realizing that I no longer know the areas that used to be like a second home to me. This is what Boon Lay has done to me.
Sighs.

Attempts to play my guitar have once again floundered and flopped spectacularly. I seriously need to do something about it. Which I will. Soon. Uh-huh.

Taking part in Fly By Night was...an experience. That's the word.
Probably not the brightest idea I had, taking part in a competition that needs you to literally be up for 48 hours the day after exam week ends, especially when sleeping during exam week is basically non-existent. Ah, wells. You live, you learn.

Had plans to catch EIC at Wala Wala this Friday, but plans kinda fell through. Anyone want to go watch them with me? Beams.

Going to watch Happy Feet with Wilfred later so yay! I can finally see the cute penguins! :) Got a couple of shows I'm dying to watch, but think they're not coming out until I'm gone. Sighs. Ain't that always the case? Hope I'll at least get to watch something nice on the flight. Especially on the way back since I'll be spending missing the new year on the plane. Blah.

Ooh! Christmas is coming! Which means my toffee nut latte is back at Starbucks!!! Beams. Absolute happiness when that comes around.
You know what would make it better?
If the Marine Parade Starbucks was still around.
