ooh la la

Hah I just knew my blogging spree wouldn't last.

Anyways, here's an update on what I've done since the last post:
The hallowed halls of UCLA. That's Royce Hall, if I'm not wrong. My classes are in the buildings further down from that but I haven't taken any pictures yet. Will get around to it soon.
Kodak Theatre on Hollywood, home of this little annual awards show known as the Oscars.
The Walk of Fame. Took a billion photos of stars since, tragically, this is the closest I'll ever get to them. Rather pathetic.
Grauman's Chinese Theatre, in great preparation for the Harry Potter premiere (of which I have pictures of that you might see later if I have the patience to load up that many photos).
International House of Pancakes! More affectionately known as IHOP, this is one of the more landmark-y food places of the States. The pancakes are gloriously light and fluffy, and it tastes SO good.
Fourth of July at Farmer's Market. There's all kinds of food to eat here and they are all so good. Had Cajun food there. Jing Yng has already requested a second trip to try more food. Haha.
The Getty Museum is build on a hill and has a really good collection of artwork. The 15th to 16th century artwork was a bit of a letdown compared to the National Gallery, but they had this gilded furniture exhibition that was really cool. It's nice, but a tad bit opulent to put in any sane person's house. Unless, of course, you're the Queen.
Posing on the glorious grass of the Getty Museum gardens. SO divinely pretty, right? Oh and the gardens were nice too. HAH.
Just a cute pic at the gardens. The flowers and stuff were really nice too but I'm kinda lazy to upload them all.
The place where you get your coffee from the coolest places on the promenade, and have to dodge those inline skaters :) Although there wasn't a lot of dodging to do, but what the hey.Nine Singaporeans at the Harry Potter Hollywood premiere. Nine cameras and not a single decent photo of Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint or Emma Watson. This takes tragic to a whole new level. Got a really decent shot of Masi Oka, a semi-blocked photo of Greg Grunberg and a nice one of Seth Green. Had much better luck with the Hairspray premiere in Westwood because, yay, that's where we live. I'll upload pics the next time. Better get down to doing my Psych essay. Agh.
