November 4th 2008 will be remembered as the day the first African-American president was elected. World, welcome change in President Barack Obama.

While this heralds the beginning of a new era, I'm sure everyone is waiting with bated breath of what the new president will do, especially in lieu of the crisis America (and the world) is heading into. Expectations have been made, and one can only hope he'll meet them, particularly since he has a largely democratic congress backing him.

But whatever tomorrow might bring, today we'll sit back and watch as history is made before our very eyes.
